Kantaram Lharam finals on Jan 25

PANAJI: The 3rd Edition of Kantaram Lharam Finals at St. Sebastian Parish on Saturday January 25. After the much participated (94 participants for Solo and Duet category) Audition round on January 17, the team at Kantaram Lharam is all set for the grand finale on January 25 starting at 6.00 p.m. 

The finalists in the Solo category include Hale Rodrigues, Rihana Gomes, Daiwik Dias, Pierson Barreto, Ivo Goncalves, Prissie Fernandes, Shane Silva, Conceicao Fernandes, Brancy Fernandes, Cialini Fernandes, Caira Fernandes, Megan Furtado, Joseph Barbosa, Rishona Gomes, Kriesler Goes, Francisco Sequeira, Ashyl Pereira, Mimoza Barreto, Sybil Dias, Pleven Vaz, Ivana Rodrigues, Valencio Azavedo, Abigail Furtado, and Cifa Fernandes. In the Duet category, the finalists are Wilbur & Winona Fernandes, Aaron Leitao & Maria Fernandes, Alroy Fernandes & Ester Pires, Cosia Oliveira & Sebastiao Rebelo, Ashyl Pereira & Nash Carneiro, Shell Gomes & Reuben Fernandes, and Sanchia Gomes & Vallan Mascarenhas.

Chicalim Youth Farmers Club complains about mud dumped in water body

PANAJIThe Chicalim Youth Farmers Club (CYFC) has lodged a complaint regarding mud being dumped in a water body in the village and claimed that they would be directly affected by hydrological disturbances in these traditional storage and drainage systems.In a letter to the Chicalim panchayat secretary on Monday, the CYFC Secretary Chelsea Fernandes stated that the CYFC noticed a truck dumping mud into the water body on Sunday at about 3 pm.“The water body is documented in the…
