VASCO: A burglar broke into the office of Samrat Naik at Fatima Manzil at Patrong Baina of Baina-Vasco and stole cash of Rs 25,000.
According to a complaint filed by Naik, the incident occurred between 6 pm on January 18 and 4 pm on January 19. The accused allegedly gained entry into the premises by breaking the shutter lock and decamped with the cash, which was kept in a pouch.
The Vasco police have registered a case under Sections 331(3) and 305(a) of the BNS Act 2023.
The investigation is being handled by PSI Carey Fernandes of Vasco Police Station under the supervision of PI Kapil Nayak and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
