Kishore is new GM at SWR

BELAGAVI
Sanjeev Kishore has taken charge as the new general manager of South Western Railways (SWR). Pending works of double-tracking and electrification in the SWR division are expected to get a major boost under his direction.

Kishore possesses wide and varied experience in various capacities in North Eastern Railway, Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, Central Railway, RITES, COFMOW, Centre for Railway Information Systems, New Delhi, Railway Board, and Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

An alumnus of Indian Railways’ Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIMEE) Jamalpur, he also has management and fellowships in relevant fields and has been awarded with the Prime Minister’s Gold Medal for his academic excellence for PG Diploma in MDI.

Educated and trained in the US, Italy and other nations, Kishore also has won several awards and has many books and research papers to his credit and has delivered lectures to bureaucrats and top industrial brass across the nation.

Kishore is a recipient of National Award (Minister of Railways Award) for meritorious service in 2003.
