PONDA: Officials of Sanguem excise office have have seized liquor worth Rs 4,379 which was illegally being transported in a bus at the Mollem check post on Sunday night.
An unknown passenger tried to take the liquor in the bus from Goa to Karnataka. When officials of the Excise Department carried out search at Mollem check post at around 8.15 pm they found a bag containing the liquor.
The liquor was seized and investigations are in progress.
