OLD GOA
The Mandur Gram Sabha has resolved that the PWD should repair a house where two family members died due to a wall collapse. Locals highlighted that the house remains in a dilapidated state, forcing the surviving family members to live with neighbours.
“There are grown-up girls in the family who need their own home. The PWD should repair the house as the family cannot afford it,” the locals demanded.
Sarpanch Prashant Naik agreed to the demand and said he would forward the resolution to the PWD Minister, who is also the Chief Minister, to ensure the house is repaired.
