Mapusa Police intercepted two minors who were involved in stealing a scooter and recovered the two-wheeler worth Rs 1 lakh.
Police informed that Ganesh Salkar a resident of Gaunsa-vaddo, Mapusa had lodged a complaint stating that his white coloured scooter which was parked near his residence was stolen by unknown persons on Friday morning.
Mapusa Police registered an offence under Section 379 (theft) of the IPC and began investigations in the case.
After developing the information received through sources, Mapusa Police carried out meticulous investigation and intercepted two 15-year-old boys who were involved in the crime and recovered the stolen white coloured TVS scooter.
The two minors were produced before the Juvenile Justice Board. Further investigation are on.
