Unknown culprits broke into an apartment at Rawanfond in broad daylight and decamped with cash and gold ornaments.
Sources informed that the incident occurred when the inmates of the house had gone out when the culprits entered the house and lifted cash and gold ornaments.
The Margao police is investigating.
