MMC to approach transport dept over registering 3 BS4 vehicles

The Margao Municipal Council has finally decided to approach the Transport Department with a plea to register the three BS4 compliant vehicles on grounds that the Municipal is discharging essential services to the public.
Chairperson Damu Shirodkar told the media after the meeting that the Council has adopted a resolution to approach the Transport Department, which will then place the matter at the Cabinet to register the three trucks. “We have had discussions with the Transport Minister who has assured to bail out the civic body. Hence, we have adopted a resolution to approach the transport department to find a way out and register the three vehicles,” he said.
