Stressing on the need of a new government complex in Mapusa, PWD Minister, Nilesh Cabral said the town requires a hall to host important government events.
“We need to construct a government complex to bring all departments under one roof for the benefit of the public. Mapusa also needs a hall to host a big event such as the Janata Darbar,” Cabral said.
In absence of adequate space, Monday’s function was held at the Bodgeshwar Hall near the Shree Bodgeshwar Temple.
He said that local MLA Joshua D’Souza will be taken into confidence to build a new government complex in Mapusa.
