A National Investigation Agency (NIA) team from Mumbai on Thursday raided the residence of an active member of the Popular Front of India (PFI) organisation in Baina.
While most authorities were tight-lipped, sources said the raid was carried out at the residential colony in Baina in the wee hours of Thursday.
"The raid was conducted at the residence, but the PFI member was not allegedly present at the residence and is reported to be out of the state. Further investigations are being carried out," said the source.
While more information is awaited, around 106 PFI members including top leaders have been arrested in simultaneous raids across country on Thursday.
The raids were a part of countrywide operations across 13 states to crack down on suspected terror funding activities.
