PANAJI
A nine-day preparation for the feast of the Ascension of Our Lord at Immaculate Conception Church, Panaji, will take place from May 20 to 28.The Novena Mass in English will be held at 8 am and in Konkani at 6 pm.
The Novena will be preceded by the blessing and hoisting of the flag on May 19 at 6 pm, followed by Mass. There will be a daily reflection on the Eucharist.
Vespers integrated in the Mass will be held on May 28 at 6 pm. On May 29 (Sunday), the feast Masses will take place at 7 am (Konkani), 8.15 am (English) and 9.30 am (Konkani). There will be no Mass in the evening.
The Novena and Feast will be celebrated with physical participation of the faithful after a gap of two years due to the Covid pandemic.
