Online survey of persons with disability launched

Disability Rights Association of Goa (DRAG) has launched an online survey of persons with disability on the occasion of Goa Revolution Day at the hands of Taha Haziq, Deputy Director and Incharge of Special Cell Empowerment of Persons with Disability, Government of Goa.

Avelino de Sa, President, Disability Rights Association of Goa and Prakash Kamat, disability rights activist and member of State Advisory Board on disability were also present during the launch.

Taha launched the survey by filling up his personal details on the survey form. The survey form will be available on the Facebook and Twitter page of the Association. It will be widely circulated on social media. This is the first time in Goa that a survey on disability of all the 21 disabilities is being conducted. 

DRAG has requested social and religious organisations, political parties, panchayats and municipalities, college students, volunteers to come forward and help the association in data collection for the online survey.
