Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd (IPSCDL) has claimed that more than 90 per cent of the ongoing project in Ribandar is complete with the remaining portion to conclude in the next few days.
“Substantial progress has been achieved in the ongoing Ribandar’s infrastructure development with completion rates ranging from 75 per cent to 95 per cent. We remain dedicated to creating a sustainable urban centre in Ribandar under the Smart City initiative. Efforts are actively underway to swiftly complete the remaining tasks as per the committed deadline,” an IPSCDL official stated in a press statement issued on Wednesday.
Among the total works, ‘storm water drainage’ is nearly finished at 96 per cent, closely followed by ‘hardscaping’ at 92 per cent completion. The sewerage pipeline and water supply line installations are at 80 per cent, while ‘sewerage works manhole’ and ‘road construction’ are at 75 per cent and 74 per cent completion, respectively.
“The completion rates reflect the significant strides taken towards achieving the project's objectives. The ongoing Smart City Mission projects in Ribandar demonstrate the collective efforts to achieve the Smart City vision,” it said.
