Sudden electricity fluctuations have damaged electrical appliances of dozens of houses in Nageshi area, barely 2 kms from the Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar’s house.
Sudden high voltage damaged house appliances in almost 25-30 houses in Nageshi's Kurpass and Dhonshi area.
Major losses were reported by Kankonkar family, who claimed that their air conditioner, television, fan and a tab from the top floor of the house was destroyed in a fire.
"When our son went and opened the room, he found all applications were burnt", said Anuradha Kankonkar.
“Neighbours tried to control the fire but the things were out of control. Finally, a fire tender came but till that time the damage was done,” said Kankonkar.
