RG’s Parab to contest from 2 constituencies

PANAJI

After declaring that Manoj Parab will be its chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming assembly elections, Revolutionary Goans Party on Friday said Parab will contest elections from Tivim and Valpoi constituencies.

“We declare that Manoj Parab will be the chief ministerial candidate for RGP and he will contest from two constituencies of Tivim and Valpoi,” said RGP President Vishvesh Parab.

Manoj Parab said he preferred Tivim constituency as it is his home town.

“Also, I want to challenge BJP leaders Satish Dhond and Sadanand Shet Tanavade who are also from Tivim constituency.”

“Secondly, I have decided to contest from Valpoi as a challenge to Health Minister, which he made during the IIT agitation. Let’s see who will set the fire. I challenge him to contest from Valpoi and not Poriem,” said Parab.

Parab said there is a rise in unemployment in the State due to wrong policies of the central government and state governments.

“There is an increase in crimes in the State and women are insecure. I will fight for locals to get a job preference in the private sector. Also, all contracts should be given to locals,” he said.
