The ruptured pipeline at Kundaim has been repaired and water supply was restored on Thursday.Public Works Department (PWD) teams worked the entire night to make water available to the public. PWD Assistant Engineer Kashinath Saraf personally supervised the repair work.
The pipeline had ruptured on Wednesday morning, affecting the water supply in St Andre, Panaji, Priol and Kumbharjua constituencies.
The PWD had immediately began repair work which got completed at 7 am on Thursday and the water supply was restored a short while later.
