Union Gymkhana (Belgaum) beat SAG RCC by 31 runs to win the All India U-13 Exposure cricket tournament in Margao.
After being asked to bat first, Union Gymkhana posted 120/5 in 20 overs. Farhan Shekh (26) and Samarth Chougule (20) shaped Union's total. Shaurya Chodankar (1/17) and Swarit Gawade (1/22) were the best bowlers for the Goan opposition.
Union defended the low total well, restricting SAG RCC to 89/9 in the 20 overs. Adeep Miskin top-scored with 35 while Shaurya Chodankar scored 14. Farhan Shekh (3/10) and Tejas (2/19) bowled well to earn the title for the visitors.
At the concluding function, Vipul Phadke, GCA president, was the chief guest while Pandurang (Bhai) Naik was the guest of honour.
