State Congress Minority Cell Chairman Nazir Khan on Monday said he had suggested two tickets to be allotted to the Muslim minorities for the upcoming assembly elections.
“I had been to New Delhi for a meeting with party higher ups over various discussions and strategies of the minority at the upcoming assembly elections in Goa. There has been no discussion over candidates of any sort as of now. In Navelim, we have a minority candidate aspiring for the party ticket.”
“I have suggested that two tickets be allotted for Muslim minorities in Goa but at the end, the decision will finally be taken by the GPCC in coordination with the high command,” said Khan.
