Refuting the claims of Deputy Speaker and Canacona MLA Isidore Fernandes that tribal community members are not with him, former Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar has claimed that majority of tribal community members are with him.
Tawadkar said that Isidore has totally failed to provide employment to Canacona youth, which he has promised at time of 2017 election campaign.
He said that Fernandes failed to implement FRC ACT and allotment of FRC plots to the beneficiaries.
Tawadkar said that MLA Fernandes is trying to hide his failures and making false allegations against him.
Tawadkar said that his social work is going strong in Canacona society. "Balaram Education Society is doing good job. Adarsh Yuvak Sangh is doing good social work. Cooperative societies are working for benefit of farmers, Credit societies are helping people", he said.
Tawadkar said that his organization is strong in the constituency. "Due to some negativity, I lost the last elections. This time my victory is assured," he added.
