Why have you sold Goa for Adani’s interest: AAP to CM

PANAJI
AAP spokesperson and leader Adv Surel Tilve poses five questions to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and asks him to give the answers to every Goan.

Adv Tilve addressed a press conference in the capital a day after the volunteers, activists and members of AAP were held for holding a protest in front of the official residence of the CM at Altinho in Panaji.

“Yesterday was a trailer, we will increase our momentum to highlight the issues of Goa, cum what may, we the volunteers of AAP will not leave any stones unturned for our rights. Goa is for Goans and we will keep reminding the government about this, who is busy working in the interest of Adani,” said Tilve.

In his address, Tilve said, "AAP stands with people of Goa in such trying and challenging times and shall always do. Goa's fate should be decided by Goans and not any Adanis or even the BJP leaders sitting in Delhi."

He further said, "AAP is asking five questions to the CM. He will have to give the answers to these questions to the people of Goa."

AAP poses five questions to the CM --

1) Why did you not ask Goans before allowing the double-tracking project for Adanis?

2) Goans feel this project will not benefit them. Kindly name one benefit which Goans will have due to this project.

3) Are you personally, with your family, willing to stay near the tracks to suffer the consequences of coal transport?

4) Why did you surrender the interests of Goans and put their lives and health at risk on the orders of the Delhi BJP leaders? Does it now show that you don't care about Goans?

5) What are your relations with Adanis? What are BJP's relations with Adanis? How much have the Adanis donated to BJP and its leaders in the last five years?

"People of Goa have fought many battles in the past and have made huge sacrifices to preserve the Goan identity and culture. We Goans will not let that go in vain. Goa is for Goans, not for Adanis. Goans have suffered a lot during the Congress and BJP regimes when decisions for Goa were taken in Delhi against the wishes of Goans. Goans will not tolerate this anymore," he stated.
