Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the Government of Zambia has decided to sign an agreement with GEDA and the renewable energy department.
“The Solid Waste Management Corporation is also exploring the probability of technology transfer to some other country. Earlier, we went to Europe to see the technology of solid waste management. Now, people from other countries are coming to see the technology at the Saligao plant,” said Sawant.
PANAJIPower Minister Sudin Dhavalikar on Thursday said the State government would announce the solar energy policy in the upcoming assembly session which begins from July 8."At present, 70-80 Mw of electricity is produced in the State through solar projects, gas energy or other private projects of Sesa Goa.
