A direct dialogue between the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and the people of Goa has started with a programme titled ‘Hello Goenkar’ from Saturday on Goa Doordarshan.“Taking inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’, that has recently completed 100 episodes, we thought of having a direct dialogue with the people of Goa,” shared Dr Sawant, while thanking Goa Doordarshan for giving Chief Minister’s office an opportunity to interact with the public once a month.
The programme will have questions from the people, on the State, its issues, and concerns. The people would be able to ask the CM their doubts and queries on issues that concern their lives and the State, in general.
“This dialogue would solve many issues that the people face in Goa and once in a month I also would be able to speak to my people what I feel, what I think. It will be a win-win situation," he said.
"Goa Government is already running popular programmes like ‘Sarkar Tumchya Dari (Government at your doorstep) and Swayampurna Goa which have initiated a direct dialogue between the government officials and the people, especially the rural folk. The new programme will also open a doorway to reach to the hearts of people," felt the CM.
