CANACONA
The Dnyan Prabodhini Mandal's (DPM) Shree Mallikarjun & Shri Chetan Manju Desai College at Canacona will host the SANGAM 2024 on January 30 and 31.
Day1 of festivities to kick off with the DPM Chairman Chetan Desai flagging off SANGAM 2024, marking the beginning of a two-day celebration. The morning will witness the Canacona Taluka Inter Higher Secondary School Run Race, followed by the inauguration of the ‘College Bazaar’ at 9 am by Pankaj Naik Gaunkar, an alumni, businessman, and social worker.
The day unfolds with a cascade of events, including competitions in patriotic singing, street play, indian folk dance, badminton, and table tennis. The campus will buzz with talent and camaraderie, culminating in a lively prize distribution ceremony.
Day Two will be feature a recognition and cultural extravaganza, at 9 am, as the college will host the ‘Palak Sanmaan Sohala’, a felicitation of parents. The Guest Speaker, Anant Agni, Headmaster of Ravindra Kelekar Dnyanmandir, Margao, will also speak on the occasion.
The highlight of the day is the Prize Distribution and Cultural Event starting at 11 am. Guests include Minister of Social Welfare Subhash Phal Dessai, and Prof (Dr) Manoj Kamat, Principal of Dempo Charities Trust's Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College of Commerce & Economics, Cujira, Bambolim.
