Save Mhadei stir to be launched from Oct

PANAJI
Taking strong objection to Karnataka's action to divert the water of Mhadei river, the Progressive Front on Tuesday criticised Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for his failure to take action to deter Karnataka from carrying out gross irregularities.
Announcing an agitation from October to save Mhadei, Mahesh Mhambre of Progressive Front said “this time the agitation will be more forceful... we will go at it in a big way”.
Mhambre said that Goa's ecology will face serious problems this summer as Karnataka has already started diversion of Mhadei river.
Congress MLA Aleixio Reginaldo Lourenco who supported the cause of the Progressive Front appealed to fight the issue unitedly and said that for this reason, he has come together with the Progressive Front.
