Drug peddler arrested near five star hotel in Porvorim

Porvorim police have arrested 30 year old Bihar native Juggal Baitha in a narcotic raid conducted on late evening on Tuesday for illegally possessing 128 grams Charas. The raid was conducted outside the five star hotel Neo Majestic in Porvorim, the hotel which also runs a casino of Goa Coastal Resort recreation private limited.

The accused was temporarily residing in Casa Del Son onsecond floor, flat number 124 in Miramar near hotel Marriot and is a native ofBihar. PI Porvorim Rahul Parab has said that the drug which was seized is worthRs 12,800 in the international market.  Theaccused has been arrested under section 20 (b) (ii) (b) of NDPS Act 1985. PSI,V. P. Shirodkar is investigating the case further.
