The recent salvo fired by the TCP minister on leader of Opposition, while turning a blind eye on others, shows the abuse of power by the ruling party.
The LoP can approach the CM, who is not too close to the HM and hope for some relief. Or he can allow himself to be blackmailed and follow the footsteps of Mauvin Godinho. He could barter his way out. All these methods mean the Opposition will lose its voice.
The best way for Michael Lobo is to take the legal route as the HM has been violating natural justice in various decisions he has taken from jobs, to medical purchases etc.
The LoP can even open up the oxygen shortages during the pandemic as the 3-member report was a blatant cover-up. There are so many issues that can be resolved only in the Court given the poor numbers of the Opposition.
Compromising with the BJP will indeed mean compromising on behalf of Goans.
