Cumborda SC defeated Eclate FC 4-1 to move into the next round of Jose & Franky Memorial football tournament played at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim.
Eclate scored the first goal through Nezly Hilario in the third minute. Cumborda equalised through Melvin Fernandes, who scored a penalty in the 15th minute, 1-1.
Soon after, Cumborda scored their second goal through Felito Fernandes in the 20th minute to make it 2-1. The first half ended 2-1 in favour of Cumborda.
In the second half, Cumborda took total control of the match by scoring two more goals, through Myron Fernandes (40') and Veron Fernandes (45') to make it 4-1. Veron Fernandes of Cumborda SC was named as the Man of the match.
