When any serious incident takes place in the State the environment becomes too noisy and police wake up to initiate stringent action. Now, amid the death of a Haryana politician Sonali Phogat who died a fortnight ago at Anjuna due to alleged overdose of drugs, it led the Goa Police to investigate the subject of the matter. Everybody from Goa to Haryana are waiting for the final outcome. The Chief Minister Pramod Sawant who is also the Home Minister forced himself to hold a high powered meeting. After the meeting, he said he is confident of Goa Police ability to take the Phogat death investigation to its logical conclusion and also said that Goa will be drug free in 3 months. I am happy to know the CM's decision. It should be done and can be done in 3 days, if the nexus between the police and politicians is broken then Goa can become a drug-free state.
