The schools have started in Goa and children are back to school after two long years of online classes. In schools, teachers have given a warm welcome to all the students and the students were happy to see their school, school teachers, friends and classmates again. The sad thing is that the text books of Class 1 to 8 which are distributed to government-aided schools in Goa at the end of May by Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan every year have not yet reached the schools where the teachers and students are waiting to begin studies. I don't understand why the government is delaying sending the books to the schools. Seems like they are busy changing the history and geography of Goa by writing their own history in books? Hope the authorities take quick steps to see that the books reach the schools as soon as possible.
