On most occasions, waste papers and plastic bottles have been noticed inside the drain situated near the entrance gate of the sub-district hospital in Ponda. Many people visit these important premises on regular basis and presence of dry garbage renders a negative image of this important hospital in their minds. The notion of ‘Swachh Goa Mission’ gets defeated in the process. It is absolutely necessary that the hospital premises is kept neat and tidy. I hope the higher officials at the sub-district hospital would consider this matter quite seriously and arrange prompt clearance of garbage at the above drain so that cleanliness is assured on a permanent basis. Assuring cleanliness would go a long way in maintaining healthy conditions to one and all.
