The miserable state of affairs in the country with regards to the Covid scenario is for all to see. The State and the Central governments have miserably failed in their duties towards its citizens.
People have now started attacking doctors and nurses with deaths rising every day. The country is in a critical condition, but the central government is still not admitting that the crisis has reached enormity.
It’s time the Centre declares emergency as the late Indira Gandhi had done earlier when the situation was out of control.
The Centre is also differentiating between States and is holding back their vaccine quota and emergency supplies. The constitutional machinery has broken down.
The president must step in at this crucial juncture and suspend the central government. The military should be given charge of the country or else the situation will only turn from bad to worse.
In Goa too, the situation is grim with cases and deaths rising every day. This clearly shows that our CM and his ministers still do not have control over the situation.
