Don't interfere with Goa's culture and language

It is nice to see that every single state in India has its own official language and its traditional way and culture. Goa is the smallest state of India and the official language of Goa is Konkani. The Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) along with few Hindu groups want to make Marathi as a official language of Goa and always wanted Goa to merge with Maharashtra. Remember that Marathi is the official language of Maharashtra. Approximately 84,000,000 people claim Marathi as their mother tongue language  of Maharashtra. I don't understand why they want to make it a Goa official language too.  Please do not interfere with our state traditional culture and language. Thanks to Dr Jack de Sequeira who has given Goans a separate state via Opinion Poll as he will always be remembered for his role in safeguarding Goa and its Goan identity.   Respect the official language of Goa which is Konkani . I really appreciate and salute our people of Goa, Goans throughout the world, Konkani drama lovers and artists, Konkani newspaper, Konkani film directors and writers, Konkani  magazines , Konkani media channels , Konkani singers and the priests who have kept our mother tongue Konkani alive.
