I have been observing Lok Sabha Elections for quite some time in Goa. Earlier it was mostly led by the respective party and their cadre, but now for the first time I am noticing a sort of big mass movement in the election campaign, particularly in South Goa and clearly for India Alliance (Congress Candidate) Captain Viriato Fernandes. Ordinary people (including myself) are taking ownership, volunteering, promoting Captain in a mass campaign as much as they can. I (like many others) personally am not a member of Congress or any particular political party, but the selection of Captain Viriato by the Congress Party (they did this thing right!) seems to have brought a lot of zeal, hope and enthusiasm to many Goan voters.
