Good riddance of those eight selfish souls

Goans have been over the years been distraught watching with despair the manner in which MLAs have been merrily switching political parties. Joining a political party must be only after one understands and is in consonance with the ideology and the underlying principles, programmes and practices of that party. It has to be a well thought decision. What has been going on is disgraceful, and it only reflects the sad state of affairs that politics has stooped to in India’s most literate State. It was hoped that the sooner those never satisfied and ever so greedy soiled souls within the Congress commit political suicide by joining the BJP it would be good for Goa and Goans. It should now be a relief that this pack of eight have finally gone surrendering to the lust of power and money. Goa and Goans will not forgive or forget these eight MLAs who for the sake of power and financial prosperity betrayed that trust the voters reposed in them. The political ashes of these party frogs will be for all to see. They will be wiped out from Goa’s political horizon and make way for some much needed sanity on our sagging political turf.
