Leaders must take criticism in their stride

Kharge's Ravana comment about Modi has stirred a hornet’s nest. Rajnath's sycophancy in recent times is also stunning. While Modi and the BJP speak what they like about our past and present leaders who hold contrary positions to them, there is no question of an apology from them about what they say.

Even Amit Shah recently said that during election times, people say many things but we should not stretch them too far. This was in the context of some BJP leader saying Rahul Gandhi now looks like Saddam Hussein.

Should Modi not heed Amit Shah's advice? In fact Modi should have been happy to be called Ravana since he is elevated to a mythological epic.

When Modi speaks leading up to any elections, the language that comes out of his mouth is that of an uneducated person. Is he not aware that in this he is being hurtful?

While when others speak about him which is not to his liking, he is quick to assume the robe of the PM and claim umbrage by saying that this is what they talk about the PM!
