Preventing damage caused by coal production?

Electricity is generated from coal. China had the highest production in the world. Of course, it has come to light that electricity generated from coal causes huge damage to the environment. Therefore, many countries are of the opinion that electricity should not be generated from coal. Power generation is expected to increase in the next two years. So, of course, coal production will have to increase. Last year, the Environment Council decided to reduce coal production. Among them, about 40 countries had decided to reduce coal production. In fact, no country other than the United States seems to be reducing its coal production. India's current coal production is 793 tonnes. And it will increase to 955 tons by 2024. The pandemic has hit the economy hard for the past two years. Now the situation is starting to return to normal. As a result, electricity consumption has started increasing. Of course, coal production has to be increased. Solar energy is an alternative, but we need to think about how we can reduce the cost of this. In addition, large scale power generation is required to increase coal production in the next two to three years. Or solar energy or other means of generating large quantities of electricity. Otherwise, coal production will harm the environment and human beings.
