Roads in Goa are in bad shape, we should be cautious. Not a single day you will find in the newspaper that no road accident in Goa has taken place; you can see how safe the road users are. Since our roads are bad we should be take more precautions. Think of yourself and think of the beloved people waiting for you at home. Roads are broadened for the smooth flow of traffic but instead of smooth flow of traffic major part of the road is used for parking vehicles, not only one side of the road but both the sides narrowing the road and wherever vacant, hawkers take the place to sell their goods again obstructing the traffic and endangering life of others. Modified silencers on vehicles especially those producing excessive noise are not allowed and illegal. Those riding such vehicles should understand that there are elderly, sick people, young children in the vicinity, there are schools and even hospitals at the road side. It’s all disturbance and a safety issue as well, when driving and suddenly you hear the noise, one tends to panic and lose control of the vehicle.
