'C' sticker needed for children in the car

It is learnt that the government will make it mandatory to have an ‘E’ sticker for vehicles driven by senior citizens in the state. It is true that elderly persons driving the vehicles need to be given respect by not honking, and giving right of way whenever possible.  While many elders value the independence of driving, changes that happen with age may alter a person’s ability to drive safely. Changes in health, including medical conditions or injuries, also may impact a person’s driving skills. The eyesight can change as one get older. As one grows older, the hearing ability can also change, making it harder to notice horns, sirens, or even sound coming from another moving vehicle. Having an ‘E’ sticker is a step in the right direction as other road users will know that there is a senior citizen at the steering-wheel.  Just like the ‘E’ sticker for elderly persons it would be desirable to introduce a ‘C’ sticker to be used when a child is travelling in the car.
