Complete pending work of Chandor rail bridge

The work of the Chandor railway under bridge which was to be completed in May was stopped due to the Covid pandemic situation. According to our MLA the work of the bridge is 50 per cent complete.

But now, when the monsoon season almost over and Covid SOPs are in place, why has the work not started?  Even when latest technology is being used, why is this delay in completing this under bridge?

Work on the railway over bridge project at Nessai has also not yet started and the excuses are as usual.

We only hope our MLA, the State government and railway ministry is not waiting for the double-tracking issue to be solved and then complete the pending work.

The government must speedily take up both these projects so that people of Chandor, Guridolim and surrounding areas don't have to waste time near the railway crossing which we all have been doing for the past many years.
