Disturbing that majority can't afford healthy diet

This is with reference to the news, "71 per cent Indians cannot afford a healthy diet......- The Goan Everyday 4 June 2022." That was disturbing news, surely, I mean what is the quality of life we are leading. The newsreport says, according to a recent report released by the Centre for Science and Environment, a whopping 71 per cent indians cannot afford a healthy diet and 1.7 m die every year due to diseases attributable to poor diet.

This report should make one stand up and think. This report should wake up the authorities, if they care for the welfare of the citizens. As is evident, a large majority of people cannot afford to have a good diet because of rising costs, inflation is skyrocketing. Cooking gas, fuel prices are killing the coming man. Obviously, how does one manage to have a healthy diet, one can only eat in order to survive. Is that what life is all about? But who cares? The government only seems to be interested in raking up centuries old issues, rewriting history, creating disturbances on basis of caste, culture, religion, language, etc. Where is all this leading to? The answer is obvious!
