We need to remind the docile Goa Government that 'Goan lives matter' and we cannot allow destruction of our pristine and serene environment, our culture where we Goans are so loving, affectionate, God fearing and warm hearted.
Adani, after being thrown out of Australia should travel by Konkan Railways train to hear the noise, see the coal/dust pollution, visit Vasco and note the choking chest. Will the subdued Goa Government overlook the effects of Konkan Railways and be a good Samaritan for the Adani and BJP? Not long ago in Chonging, South China, six Chinese died of carbon monoxide - a byproduct of coal. Poland and Germany are also carting their fight against coal.
Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha - following the legacy of her husband, late Mathany Saldanha, who vehemently fought against Konkan Railways, could be an inspiration for the people of Goa, and should create a movement like that took place in Ukraine - The Blearus Movement put the Russian PM Putin in place.
The coal being carried is for Karnataka that has multiple harbours - Karwar, Mangalore to mention a few. Why is then Goa being used, and should we Goans now swim in Mhadei?
We do not need development. Development is for the growth of the local an central ministers' pockets.
