Health check before water sports activity

In a tragic incident reported on New Year’s Eve, a 72-year-old man, a native of Mumbai died on the Baina beach. It is learnt that the man went for water sport activity where he is suspected to have died due to a heart attack.

It must be said that water sports activities are very hectic and should not be indulged in by those with a health condition or history of cardiac issues.

The water sports operators need to take the age and health condition of the person into consideration before allowing the person to take part in the water sports activity.

Health of the people who want to take part in the water sports activity should be of top priority and should not be overlooked in order to make some money.

It is pertinent to note that before a bungee jump the participant is checked by the doctor for any health issue before the person is allowed to take the jump.

It would be prudent to have a health check before the person takes part in any water sports activity in order to prevent any untoward incident.
