In recent times, the word corrupt or corruption has become a headline with the greatest interest or talk for all and sundry. The most certain thing we find is: how do those involved and their kin accept the corrupt income proudly, especially those educating their children overseas with fees paid out of illicit earnings or tax payers contributions? Surely not their birthright to relish such funds and feel glorified in the race to become shamelessly richer than the other corrupt colleague. If one does a postmortem, we will find that corruption occurs wherever moral values are surrendered for greed as a mind that no longer sees reality but begins manufacturing what it would like reality to be. This is how a corrupt mind functions ” being blindfolded with greed and partaking shamelessly. On the flipside, the innocents sadly pay the price as corrupt make merry. Some enjoy the same morality, knowing that life has many shortcuts and one doesn’t have to take the long and hard route but rather get the palm greased, preferring bribery to hard work.
