Goa government must not unlock boundaries of the State for those who are entering Goa without administering anti-Covid vaccines henceforth. Vaccination certificate must be made mandatory for non-Goans along with tourists who will be visiting Goa till the coronavirus pandemic ends.
For the labour class, Goa is Gulf in earning point of view. And therefore most of the labourers are attracted towards Goa State from all over India. Goans are paying a minimum daily wage of Rs 700/per day for the labour class.
After unlocking Goa, nearly two lakh non-Goans will enter Goa for their livelihood. But Goa government needs to be cautious about these people. Special SOPs are required to be enforced before unlocking Goa. Vaccination certificate should be made mandatory at any cost.
One Covid case can ignite the virus in the State. Of course, the Goa State by the time could cover 100% vaccination. Nevertheless, we can’t allow “free Corona” in the State via non-Goans and tourism.
So, prevention is better than cure. Let Goans prepare antibodies successfully to eradicate Corona completely.
