At the recent UK Prime Minister's elections, more than one person of Indian origin, was allowed to contest for PM UK without any racist attacks by opposition/other UK politicians! Even when the No 2 contender Rishi Sunak did cow worshipping, no other British politician mocked/insulted him on his faith ! I also like the way the PM contenders went through various exhaustive widely publicized contests and were finally elected by their party members; can we think of the latter thing happening in India / Goa ? Sad to say, currently the general character of Indian/Goan politicians is very low versus British politicians. I think it’s important that Indian and Goan politicians in India learn some great lessons from British politicians! Just for some Indian senior ruling politicians to self proclaim India as “mother of democracies” is not enough; it needs to be backed by appropriate action and proper ways to ensure that India is a proper and not pseudo democracy!
