I cannot stop laughing at these people who elected such leaders. It was a shameful and horrific act of public display. At second thought I am convinced that this act tantamounts to sacrilege having taken oath at the temple, church and the dargah to never betray the trust of the people and the promise they made to stay put for the whole term of five years come what may. These leaders are habitual betrayers and can never be trusted by any yardstick even if they swear to God, but the fact that people continued to trust these betrayers only affirms that it is the people who have betrayed God through these leaders.
At the campaigning for the just concluded assembly elections we had told the people to refrain from voting for the Congress and support the Aam Aadmi Party for stability, but in vain. The milk is spilt and damage is done and these 8 leaders will have the last laugh now that they are in their comfort zone counting their mint. To the Goans concerned, I must re-iterate what I hear from the people these days “Tumi kedna sudraupache nam’’.
