It has been noticed that travellers and locals have been throwing empty plastic bottles (after having soft drinks) in the open at the Adpai jetty. There is no dustbin at this location. The plastic waste in is giving the place an ugly appearance. In tune with the ‘Swachcha Bharat Abhiyan’ it is the need of the hour to keep this location clean and tidy. The Adpai-Durbhat village panchayat has to place dustbins at this spot and arrange regular clearance of the same. Such a step would not only help in keeping the jetty clean, but will also improve its image. Let us hope that the elected representatives would take note and initiate prompt positive action.
