The only cure to the ills of politics is to limit the tenure of elected representatives to two terms, whether it be Assembly, Parliament Raha Sabha and local bodies. The craving for position, power, influence and financial greed drives the politics of today. All that the politicians think while in power is how to stay in contention and to meet this end they resort to creating a divide in society among people of different faiths. The emphasis is always less on development and whatever works we see are mired in corruption. The dealings are never straight.
