This is to inform that based on my suggestion that the RCC enclosure around the trees on Dayanand Bandodkar Road that are all cracked are being dismantled and work is now in progress to repair them. The Commissioner of CCP instructed this work on war footing before the rains so progress has been achieved. As this was not done the tree roots were getting suffocated and that was bad for their growth.
Similarly another issue which is much more serious to Panjimites is flooding taking place all over low-lying areas and there is no outlet for the rain water to get discharged into the river Mandovi.
These areas need to be designed in such a way that the flooding stops on the main road.
