WB governor readies for self awarded clean chit

The West Bengal governor facing molestation charges has embarked on a novel method to 'prove' himself innocent. He has invited 100 people to view the CCTV footage but has pointedly excluded Mamata Banerjee and 'her' police from the bidding. People can call a number to register their names for viewing the footage, the first 100 people to call / mail will be accommodated. This is truly laughable ; when the undersigned rung the number provided he was informed that all slots were filled. If the governor wants to prove his innocence why doesn't he provided the surveillance footage to the police. What I foresee is that a select few handpicked by the governor himself will be shown a doctored tape, they in turn will proclaim that there is nothing objectionable seen in the clip and shall award the gubernatorial head a clean chit.  If he is truly guiltless why is he not sharing the tape with the police? This is a unique way of getting a clean chit and might set a precedent for criminals in future, police and courts shall cease to have any relevance.
